As this saga was progressing I'd been posting this for friends to read. Thanks to Old Hob for mentioning fruit, and giving me this bizarre new direction to go in:

OK, pen and banana at the ready. As always it's best to read back the number to make sure you've got it right. This was the first time I blatently swapped details around, painted them bright pink, and lit them with flashing neon bulbs.

Looks like I might get a break while they wait for me to phone their contact. I'm no longer sure if the contact is the brother, or if they are two different people. In all fairness, I don't think they know either.

At this point I used the "block" functionality in my client. I have no idea why, but they could still send me more messages. I guess I should have reversed the polarity of my shields or something.
